Femininity, to me, is everything. It’s everywhere. The moment I was brought into this world and until I leave it, I am consumed by femininity. It is everything I see and everything I speak, everything I believe in. I even have the title of this work “Energía Femenina” tattooed on my skin, which will last longer than I will.

As a woman who primarily photographs women and those who identify as female, I am always seeking the elegance and glamor that comes with femininity. I celebrate how absolutely beautiful it is to be a woman through my camera lens. It’s never one-sided though, the beauty of being a photographer is building that energy with the subject and that is where the magic truly is born.

Photography, to me, is so much more than snapping photos of pretty people or pretty clothes, it’s the connection of everything and everyone that is involved. That is what I look for in my work. Taking great photos is one thing, but the dynamic between photographer and subject is what elevates images into photography.
