Nakea Love

With this project I aimed to address and challenge the notions surrounding femininity and gender. The collection explores concepts of gender performance, gender based stereotypes and roles, societal norms and pressures, and the stigmatization and objectification of the body. The series incorporates objects and people in an effort to shed light on the female experience.
